3) If you go on to certify as a Birth Doula through DONA International, you will need to observe a Childbirth Education/Preparation course as a doula studio, not as an expectant parent. You may complete this after your birth doula workshop as well.

RENEW MAMA’S PRENATAL YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
This 40-hour prenatal yoga training is perfect for yoga teachers, doulas, midwives, labor + delivery nurses, lactation educators, and moms-to-be.
It will give you an opportunity to learn more about yoga throughout the stages of pregnancy and how this empowering practice can help to inspire and nourish moms throughout this life-changing event.
You’ll leave prepared to lead a powerful prenatal yoga sequence that builds a mother’s confidence, reduced fear, builds a community, and connects her back to her growing baby.

Meet Amanda Holbert
YT-200, YPT, CD + Founder of Renew Mama Studio
Amanda is a wife, mother of three and the founder of Renew Mama Studio – a prenatal + postnatal wellness studio in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is a 200-hour yoga teacher and a birth doula who has walked along side 1,000’s of mamas over the years. Amanda has been teaching prenatal yoga in the greater Grand Rapids community for over 6 years. She has a strong passion to support women during the childbearing years. Amanda believes in the power of community and believes motherhood should not be done alone. She enjoys leading classes that have a strong emphasis on community building and support. Amanda carries that passion into all of her offerings and throughout her day-to-day life. She loves supporting women from the moment they find out they are expecting until years after they have given birth.
