We love putting together our seasonal schedules throughout the year and we’re especially excited about Fall 2019! While many of the tried and true classes you love will remain on our schedule, we are thrilled to offer five brand new classes this fall. We’ve also worked hard to thoughtfully pair as many mama and kids classes together as possible. This makes getting your workout in as easy as possible while the kids enjoy a class of their own!
1. Renew Cardio Barre
Think of this class as our signature barre class you know and love, but slightly more intense. This class incorporates barre, cardio, and core for all the mamas who want to get fit fast.
2. I Feel Better Now Groups
Tuesdays, 4:30pm (ages 5-7) and 6:30pm (ages 8-11).
I Feel Better Now is a group for children who have experienced a trauma. Traumatic symptoms include fear, excessive worries, nightmares, reverting to a younger age, jumpiness and many other emotions. Trauma symptoms come from not being able to control what happened.
In the I Feel Better Now group, we will use weekly art therapy techniques, including drawings, to help process the trauma, education to understand trauma and what it means and coping skills to navigate through the group process and every day life. This group is powerful and healing and helps children learn they are not alone and that they can feel better. Taught by a school social worker and clinical therapist.
I Feel Better Now is an 8 week session, not included in your pass – but pass holders get a discount!
3. Lactation Lounge
Thursdays at 10:45am (biweekly).
The Lactation Lounge is a biweekly time to come together as women and moms to share our breastfeeding experience and challenges we all face. Bring your questions and we will walk through this journey of motherhood laughter and tears alike. The Lactation Lounge is $10 to drop-in or use your pass!
4. Yoga Explorers Class
Thursdays at 4:30pm. Ages 5-10 years.
We will play yoga, practice mindfulness, play yoga games, and all sorts of other yoga activities! Bring your elementary age child and give this a try. Have older kids and a baby, too? Bring the little one to Mom and Baby Sensory Play, happening at the same time!
5. Mom and Baby Sensory Play Class
Thursdays at 4:30pm. Ages 0-18 months.
Sensory play is an important step in the development process – and a fun one! This class will include all sorts of sensory props and activities to stimulate your baby’s sense of touch, smell, taste, sight, and hearing. Each week will be different, with new things for your baby to explore. There will be story time and some movement as well! This class is 45 minutes long and is meant to foster community between the moms in class in addition to strengthening sensory development for the little ones.
