Do you remember when Gisele posted the photos of her and her daughter doing yoga together? It was basically #momgoals for me, and I’ve been trying to recreate those moments with my own two daughters at various classes like Mom & Baby Barre, Mom & Baby Yoga, and Movers & Crawlers Yoga at Renew Mama. This is as close to Gisele as we got, but I enjoyed experiencing the benefits of yoga and barre with my littles in tow.
Sometimes, though, I prefer a little time to focus on my own wellbeing. And now that my girls are getting older, I’m so excited that with Renew Mama’s expanded space, I can put them in their own yoga class (with their own teacher) while I get my own workout in!
The new Renew Mama Summer Schedule starts June 1st with so many options for mamas to take time for their own self-care while their kids learn to take deep breaths, improve their balance, and practice flexibility. So as the school year ends, and summer fun begins, consider that Kids Yoga classes can offer a beneficial combination of physicality and serenity they won’t get from other summer activities. Of course, Renew Mama makes the kid classes extra fun, so you might hear the group meowing and mooing in cat-cow or see them standing strong and still like a tree.

9:00 am – 10:00 am – Barre (Babies Welcome) + Big Kids’ Yoga (ages 6-10)
10:15 am – 11:15 am Post-Natal Yoga Flow (Babies Welcome) + Preschool Yoga
9:30 – 10:30 am Barre (Babies Welcome) + Kids’ Yoga (ages 3-8)
Plus you can stick around for Toddler Art Class
7:15 pm – 8:15 pm Yoga Flow + Good Night Yoga (ages 3-8)
9:30 – 10:30 am Barre (Babies Welcome) + Preschool Yoga
I, for one, can’t wait to try Wednesday night’s Good Night Yoga, knowing how hard it is for the kiddos to calm down when the sun stays up way past their bedtime! A little evening savasana can probably do us all good.
